Ammonia is a gas that dissolves easily in water, making it difficult to measure. It is a toxic substance that can harm all living things and is also very corrosive. The amount of ammonia present in water depends significantly on the pH level. In acidic conditions, most of the ammonia exists as ammonium (NH4⁺) ions, which cannot be detected by standard sensors. The OPM AMMONIA sensor is specifically designed and manufactured according to ASTM Method D1426-08 (B) to accurately measure the amount of dissolved ammonia in water samples.

Features:
  • Accurate and high-resolution real-time measurements.
  • Easy integration with a plug-and-play design.
  • Integrated digital display for real-time monitoring and data logging, enabling advanced analysis.
  • Very low maintenance operation.
  • Built-in sensor diagnostics for easy access to sensor performance details through two-way communication.
  • Reliable and robust performance under changing process conditions.
  • User-friendly calibration.
Advantages:

Ammonia sensors are very specific and can work well without being affected by other substances in the water. They can detect both low and high levels of ammonia, making them suitable for different water quality situations, from clean water to heavily polluted wastewater.
